My name is Alexandria Ryce and I am currently a 2nd grade teacher within the Baltimore City Public School System. I have worked in the fields of child care, early childhood mental heath, as well as education for over 15 years. I began my journey as a babysitter, and during my high school and college career, I served as a nanny for a wonderful family in Ellicott City Maryland. I am presently still in touch with that family as that young man is currently a sophomore in college. From there, I began working in the field of child care in Columbia Maryland as first a classroom assistant for two year old students. I then progressed to begin serving as a preschool teacher with Bright Horizons of Baltimore Maryland. I have worked as a Director of education for two child care centers within the state of Maryland. I hold a Bachelors Read more Degree in Psychology, and a Masters Degree in Early Childhood Education. I am both CPR/First Aid certified, as well as emergency preparedness trained.
