Hi everyone! My name is Karina, I'm 21 years old and I have been babysitting consistently and frequently since 8th grade (7 years of experience). I absolutely adore children (like sincerely, they're my favorite kind of humans) and I work very well with kids of all ages. I think that's because I'm kind of a big kid myself :) but I'm also very responsible. I'm a fun sitter when its time to have fun, but strict when I need to be strict. I believe that a good babysitter should have a good balance of both! I've had 4 nannying jobs in my lifetime and countless babysitting gigs from people in my neighborhoods, church, and through recommendations. At one point last semester (spring 2014) I was working a full time nannying job, and 3 other separate consistent babysitting gigs throughout the week. I also have experience working with autistic children. During Read more the summer of 2012 I did a volunteering program called AmeriCorps where I worked at a summer camp in philly for 4 weeks and then an inner-city sports camp in atlanta for 2 weeks. Best experience of my life, hands down. I know how to preform CPR and am familiar with first aid if anything should happen. A little bit about me: I love traveling! This past summer I saved up and visited 13 different places around the US and it was an amazing experience. I love dancing and listening to music, being social, meeting new people, going to new places, and my favorite food of all time is ice cream. I'm currently in community college and am studying to be a pediatric physician assistant. I have a 4.0 as of right now and my major is biology!
