Rachel has been great with my toddler (1.5 yo) . She came through for us on a very short notice. Rachel figured out the lay of the land very quickly. She keeps the toddler entertained, educated, and fed -- while keeping the play area clean. Always arrives earlier than her time, so she is available as soon as we need her. She volunteered to swap and care for the newborn when the toddler wants some mom-time. My family was hesitant about having a nanny in home for the first time, as it greatly changes the dynamic. After meeting Rachel and seeing her work with my kid, we were all convinced that her experience made her a great fit.

Hi Moms and Dads thank you for visiting my profile. My name is Sherry living in Gaithersburg Md. I have worked as a babysitter /nanny for over 40yrs. I worked for family's all over Montgomery County . I have work with preemies, new-born, toddlers and school age children. I have had experience with down syndrome children and one that requires a feeding tube. As a nanny I want your child/children to know that I am there to keep them safe and give love while their parents work. I will protect them as if they are my own. I read, sing song, go out, do craft and get down on the floor, and play. I enjoy going to story time and other activities. Sorry, I don't do public pools. I have travel with my family's to other states. I even travel to Spain with one of my family and stayed for 2months. I also do short term jobs and long term. My last family I was with for 3 years. I try to to support my family's as much as I can, whether it's a emergency or something else. I like to build a bond with the kids that I take care of so they feel safe and love at all times. Yes this is a job but how can you spend time with beautiful kids and not love on them. I do have my own car seats less then 2yrs old and kept clean. They are Graco.

We have been extremely happy with Sherry, and highly recommend her. She works with our family on a regular basis and cares for our three young children. She is consistently reliable, responsible, and genuinely caring. Sherry is warm and attentive with the kids, engages them in age-appropriate activities, and creates a calm, safe, and nurturing environment. She communicates clearly, follows instructions well, and shows good judgment and initiative when caring for multiple young children. Our kids are happy and comfortable with her, which gives us great peace of mind. She has become a trusted and valued part of our routine, and we would confidently recommend her to any family looking for a dependable and thoughtful caregiver.

Hello!! My name is Norma, I am 40 years old and from Lima, Peru. I have over 6 years of nanny experience with newborns, toddlers, and children of up to 5 years of age. Currently I am in a full-time position looking after a 2 year old boy and a girl who just turned 4. I have been with this family since I moved to the US 2 years ago, but unfortunately they are moving abroad at the end of August, which is why I am looking for a new family. I am a positive and energetic mother of three boys and love taking care of children and watching them grow, helping them during their different developmental stages, playing with them, taking them outside (I love spending time outdoors with them!), doing arts and crafts with them, taking them to the library, and teaching them to be caring, social (the kids I currently look after have made the best playground friends), but also independent. I’ve been living in the United States for 2 years. I am fluent in Spanish and truly enjoy teaching my mother tongue to kids. My English is still a little bit basic but I am diligently studying it to get better every day. I'm able to provide a supervised, safe, and stable environment for your little ones. I can help with light children related household tasks such as doing dishes, laundry, and some light cooking. Feel free to message me if you’re interested. Thank you!!!!

Norma is a calm, kind, nurturing, and trustworthy caretaker. She has been a full-time nanny for our boy/girl twins for more than a year, starting when they were 22 months and staying with us until they turn 3 and start school in the fall. She’s helped them through dropping a nap, potty training, and all of the big feelings of toddlerhood. I’m impressed with how patient, calm, and steady she is with two energetic kids. We also have a 9-year-old who LOVES Norma, so I know she would be great with older kids as well. She quickly made friends with other nannies in our neighborhood and took the twins out every day to story times, playgrounds, museums, and libraries. She’s very active and intentionally teaches them, reads to them, and engages them in play. She’s comfortable taking the kids on public transit, and also walks far distances to get them out and about. Norma speaks Spanish and is learning English, and I’m thrilled that my kids are growing up bilingual. Every day she sends pictures and videos so I can see what they’re up to, and before leaving she provides details about their eating, nap, and diaper/potty for the day. I work from home often so I know that she was very present and engaged with my kids. She is also trained in CPR/First Aid and is always on guard. Because our son has a peanut/pistachio allergy, she is attentive and highly protective of what he’s exposed to everywhere they go. As a result, she’s never had to use the epipen though she knows where it is at all times. Wrangling two boisterous kids is tough work, but she handles them with grace and ease, always keeping them safe and being aware of where they are and what they’re up to (despite their best efforts!). Norma is reliable, communicative, and punctual. On the rare occasions her bus was running late, she always let us know quickly and conversely, she was very flexible and understanding when we’d be running late to get home and take over for her. We had a wonderful partnership, and we’re really going to miss her. I highly recommend Norma for any babysitting or nannying jobs!

Clifford did a wonderful job with my infant son. My mom, who is a retired nurse, was around to observe and said he did the best job out of multiple sitters we have had. Punctual, responsive, sweet and completely reliable.

Sonja was a nanny for our son from 12 - 26 months. Sonja is truly an amazing nanny, and an amazing person. She has the sunniest, happiest, most joyful disposition I have seen in a person. In more than a year that she has worked at our house, I have never seen her in a bad mood. She is extremely creative, and comes up with the greatest ideas for kids' playtime. Sonja came up with fantastic crafts projects for our older son. She is a fabulous cook. Even though I did not ask her to clean, she would frequently vacuum the house because she likes everything to be neat and tidy. The kids adored her, and still do. Her generosity knows no bounds. With all this, she is also very professional and punctual. We were extremely happy, and fortunate, to have her with us.

Hi! This is Nurhayat and live in Fairfax in VA. I am a reliable, patient, positive and bilingual 27 year-old with 10+ years experience in child care. I have an international relation degree in my country, Turkiye, and I have been working with kids since high school. I am currently taking care of 3 adorable kids of age 2, 5 and 6.5. Due to their grandmother moving in with them in two months, I am looking for a new opportunity! I am a planner and a multitasker, it gives me a lot of joy being around kiddos and see and help them learn, grow, explore and enjoy every moment! I do think one of the most important things that comes with caring for children, is to provide a safe and stable environment, while keepings things fun and enjoyable for them, and making sure that they are feeling heard and cared for. I am also willing to do additional tasks. I do have references that I will be more than happy to provide. Also I Have a car and work permit.

I am a senior at American University majoring in Data Science with a minor in Computer Science. I am currently based in Bethesda, finishing my last semester at AU this fall, and I am looking for part-time babysitting or nannying work. I have 10 years of babysitting experience. I have babysat for over 20 families in Nashville, New York City, and Washington, DC. I have babysat for single families with 2-3 children aged between 3 months to 9 years old, and I have done formal, weekly childcare for churches where I supervised groups of kids aged 1-year-old to 12 years. Typically, my tasks included picking up and dropping off from school and after-school activities, aiding the elementary school-aged children with homework, entertaining the kids, changing diapers, cooking nourishing meals, and encouraging good behaviors using positive reinforcement. In single-family settings, I can also provide light housekeeping work such as cleaning and doing laundry. Outside of school and babysitting, I love reading, spending time with my puppy Mila, and writing songs. I have self-released two albums and have toured nationally with several bands. I am able to provide guitar and bass lessons for beginner to intermediate players. I am excited about the opportunity to work with you, and I am happy to provide references from my previous clients.
