I began babysitting for families in my neighborhood when I was in 8th grade and eventually held various nannying positions throughout highschool. I enjoy childcare so much because of the nature of children, especially younger ones, where everyday can be a new experience. I am a rising Senior at the University of Maryland studying neurobiology and human physiology. I hope to go to medical school in the future and eventually practice emergency medicine. My goal to enter this field is largely driven by my need for a high energy environment which is also why I enjoy childcare so much. I have also recently finished a course through UMD where I had the opportunity to teach STEM lessons in local College Park elementary schools, an experience I value greatly. I am CPR and Stop the Bleed certified and am happy to provide references if you would like!
