I am native to the Dominican Republic and after migrating from their, I was unfortunately not able to continue my studies at a community college given additional requirements. However, I found my true passion in taking care of children and have been doing this for the past 20 years. It was not some random thing fell on my lap but rather an inherent nature to care/nurture children. At this point in my life and given the extent of my experience, it has become second nature to care for children. My title " I have to sneak out so they don't cry once I leave for the day" is truth. The children I have cared for in the past have become so attached to me that it makes it difficult for me, and of course for them, to leave to go home at the end of the day.
