Hi! My name is Syniah. I’ve been working with children since the age of 19 starting at YMCA summer camp. There they noticed I worked extremely well with children of all ages and decided to recruit me into their school age program. I took all the trainings and certifications to qualify myself as an aid and then slowly advanced to being a group leader. While working at the YMCA I also was asked to help with their preschool and babysitting program. I have since moved on from the YMCA and currently work within the MCPS school system as a para educator. This summer I am looking to nanny for any parents who made need it. I am currently a college student studying American Sign Language, at ASL4 level. I am open to helping any hard of hearing families out there as well!
