Hello! My name is Bronwyn Weikert and I will be starting my masters degree at George Mason University for Arts Management in the fall. I am graduation this May from University of North Carolina Greensboro with degrees in Arts Administration and Voice Performance. While I am looking to be in the arts world, I have such a passion for childcare. I have two younger sisters that, while they are older, definitely was a type of childcare when I was younger. I have babysat in my neighborhood on and off with children ranging from 1 to 10 years old. I have also nannied for a child with cerebral palsy. He was an absolute joy to work with and I learned a lot about myself and working with children with special needs. I also babysat 3 boys, ages 3, 5, and 9 which was also exciting and high energy. I am capable Read more and happy to tutor children as I went through high school with a 4.0 GPA and have tutored math, english, science, and history. I am a big believer in involving music with learning, so if that is something that your children would be interested in, I am qualified to teach voice lessons and piano lessons. I have a driver's license and a car that can fit 4 other passengers. I have never received a ticket or been in any car accidents. I am very competent in the kitchen and laundry room so can fulfill whatever tasks that need to be done in those departments. I love children and truly believe in their development and learning. I believe that screen time should be limited and that outside play is essential, especially during the summertime (with sunscreen of course). I hope that any children that I am responsible for would grow and develop in the best ways possible under my care.
