Hello! My name is Elizabeth. I just turned 39, I have reliable transportation and have open availability right now. I don’t have any biological children but I do have two step children with my partner that I’ve been helping raise for the last 4 years. Prior to that I have been a nanny/babysitter off and on since 1996 ranging from family members/younger cousins to newborns and infants. I DO have CPR training for babies, children and adults, but I need to get my actual certification again. I have a deep love for animals and nature and have no problems with helping out with pets or taking care of plants. I also have done housekeeping before and know how to do laundry and dishes and cook, as well. My most recent job was commercial cleaning… and I realize that I really don’t like it at all. I love the employees at Read more the businesses I clean at, but the actual company I was working for had us working in conditions where we had neither the proper tools/attire, nor were we trained in how to handle cleaning biohazardous waste materials. I would much rather have a job where I’m at least feeling like I’m making a positive difference in a young person’s life while alleviating any stress and excess house work their parent(s) may be too tired to tend to. Im also very good at following instructions and paying attention to detail when it comes to cleaning. I would like to go back to school to get a degree in child development, so that I can ultimately become a Montessori teacher. I have no set date for this yet, but would like to accomplish this within the year. I am definitely a trustworthy, caring person. I love helping people. And since I don’t have any babies of my own, i really do enjoy watching them grow and learn and playing with them. You definitely will not be disappointed if you hire me!
