Hello, My name is Samantha Dyer, I have over 10 years of experience working with children from 8 weeks old to school age. I have worked in daycare settings with school age kiddos, as a personal nanny for the same family for 2+ years, and have almost 4 years experience working in learning centers as Lead Teacher at two different centers, both working with 1-2 year or toddler age children. CPR and First Aid certified, as well as 30+ hrs. of childcare trainings per year, while working as a teacher. I love many things about working with children and have a great sense of humor, which can come in handy at times while working with toddlers. I love watching small children grow right before my eyes and I feel fulfilled working with families to assist in helping teach basic skills to little minds. I am very comfortable caring for 5 Read more toddlers at a time, but I prefer to have the ability and time to really get to know your child, focus on, and give all my attention to them, to be able to provide the best care possible for the child as well as the parents. It is important to start playing fun educational activities/ games early, to practice gross motor skills, let them explore their creativity, create artwork, to explore in sensory play, and simply let them be KIDS!
