I just finished my 20th year as a second and third teacher. l graduated 8 years ago with my Master's in Education. I have had 20+ years of childcare experience. I have been a nanny or babysitter for over 20years. I was a babysitter starting in high school and continued on the side until college. While in college I was a nanny through Beacon Hill Nannies and lived in New York as a live in nanny. The following summers I have been a nanny in Falmouth, Yarmouth, Cumberland, Cape Elizabeth,Freeport, Kennebunkport ,Scarborough and Boothbay Harbor. I have also done multiple nanny jobs in New York and throughout New England. I have been a nanny for children ages new born twins to twelve years old. I have great references as well. Fingerprinted, background checked, certified Infant/Child CPR/1st aid, member of nanny organizations, and I have references from several families I have "nannied!" My specialty is birth to 12 mo. but have enjoyed all ages. My hourly rate is $24-25 for 1 child depending on what is needed, $27 for 2 children, $20-25 for single events. Included: simple meal prep for the baby, dishes, tidying toys at day's end, minimal pet care. Nannying is my sole income, so like a daycare, I am paid a weekly salary to hold that timeslot for the duration of the assignment.
