Child care has been a significant responsibility in my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up as the oldest daughter in a family of nine, volunteered at an elementary after school program throughout high school, worked as a nanny through college, and have lived through a world pandemic with two school-aged step-daughters at home. Most recently, I nannied 3 kids in Cambridge, Ma before moving to Maine! Here I also managed the household for a single mother. This consisted of getting the kids ready for and to school, organization jobs, grocery shopping, and cleaning. I graduated from Culinary School with a degree in Baking and Pastry Arts. After spending years in the industry, I made the decision to go down a different career path. Though my life has made unexpected turns along the way, I still have a passion for baking and cooking. In particular, teaching Read more kids how to cook meals and bake/decorate delicious treats (which doubles as an awesome science lesson). In addition to that, I'd be happy to use those skills to prepare meals for your family and/or grocery shop! But, I'm also open to helping out with other various household chores. I'm very comfortable around pets and other animals, but I have a special love for dogs! I'm very open to pet care in addition to child care and love to use dogs as an excuse to go for walks or spend time outside with kids. I have an almost clean driving record. I was in a very minor fender bender when I was 16, but I want to be honest about that! I'm a very safe driver and an experienced school picker-upper :)
