Hello, my name is Hope Wakefield. I recently graduated from high school in June of 2017, and have decided to work until I make a decision on what I want to go to college for. Although, I did apply to York Community College and was accepted for Early Childhood Education, I wanted to make sure that I had saved enough money to only focus on school when I decide to go rather than go to school full-time and work as well. I come from a family with 4 sisters, three younger than me. In the summer and the beginning of the 2017/2018 school year, I was employed as a BHP (Behavioral Health Professional). From 2014-2016 I worked in a private household babysitting two younger kids after school until their parents arrived home from work. Since I was young I have always been interested in child care and have told my Read more mother that when I grow up I want to become a teacher to Pre-K or Kindergarten students, or even own my own daycare. My mother has always considered me to be a "mother-hen" even since I was 6 & 7 years old. I am CPR certified and have tons of experience with caring for children.
