Hello! I am Elizabeth. For the past 5 years I have been a childcare associate with the Portland YMCA. I have been working in childcare based positions for 9 years including, child-care centers, nannying, and date night babysitting jobs. I love to be a positive and supportive caregiver that provides a safe, comfortable and stimulating environment for any child. I am really laid back and love to play and be silly. I think that it is most important during childhood to inspire children to explore and develop into kind, respectful, and loving people. I love spending time exploring the arts through crafts, music, reading, and playing pretend. I also am a big advocate of outdoor and active time. I live in the Portland area and would like to nanny in the Greater Portland area. I have 3/4 of a Bachelors degree in early childhood education completed. I plan on finishing when my son goes to school because I am loving my time with him during these toddler years. I am CPR and First Aid certified through the American Red Cross. I have also completed multiple trainings with Appelbaum Training Institute for early childhood. Beyond all the trainings, I truly enjoy my time spent with the children I care for and I love to keep my son involved with other children of all ages because children learn best through playing with their peers.
