I have over 10 years of experience working with children! When I was in middle school/high school, I helped babysit 3 boys that were brothers. While they were younger I would help their grandmother watch them until the youngest was about 1 years old then I would babysit on my own. This was on the weekends during the school year and then full time in the summer for about 4 years. I really enjoyed getting to know these kids and teaching them important life lessons! This was when I learned that I had a passion for working with kids. I have always been told I have a knack for working with this population. I truly enjoy it. Now I have experience working with kids in the behavioral and mental health fields which has broadened my range of knowledge as well. I have my CPR certification and BHP (Behavioral Health Professional) Read more certification which both help me further work with kids in a safe and knowledgeable way. I am looking forward to finding a family I can connect with and share valuable experiences with too. :)
