My name is Shania and I am 25 years old. I have a 2 year old daughter with Type 1 Diabetes and Celiac Disease. I have babysat various children on and off for 15 years, with one child I watched for 4 years had severe asthma and treatments to manage daily. Although I do not have active certifications, I spent 8 years working as a Certified Nurse Aide and I am trained in First Aid and CPR. Considering this information, I have a well rounded background and am open to watching children of different ages with different needs. I would like to watch children in my own home. My availability will currently vary as I do hold a full time job however, I am looking in to this as a career change and would be open to full time day care. I wam looking to leave my current job to Read more watch children while I also have the ability to remain home and care for my daughter. I have a play area in the main living area of my home with many toys, books, and learning oriented activities. We will soon has a play set and sand box in our fenced back yard. There is also a city pool and play ground walking distance from my home if approved by a child’s parent/guardian. My husband will not be in the home during business hours, but for those who prefer, we are both already fully vaccinated for Covid-19 and the flu. I am open to daily rates or hourly rates. This can be discussed and decided in per case. Drop off and pick up times are negotiable. Inclusion of meals can be discussed.
