I have experience in both a traditional and non-traditional setting (domestic violence shelter) and am now looking for a family to nanny for. I enjoy doing activities with kids, whether outside, checking out a new park, or making crafts on a rainy day. I am definitely not the kind of nanny that is going to come in and do the bare minimum to care for your children. I have experience taking care of children up to 13 years old but have the most experience (1.5+ yrs) taking care of children under 3 years of age. Every age group has it's own "pros and cons" but seeing a young child learn and grow, and being able to help facilitate that, outweighs the dirty diapers and tantrums.
