I started babysitting/nannying when I was 13—first taking care of a two week old infant and her two young brothers. In highschool I continued babysitting/nannying for the same family, and I also watched other children in my town—usually children under one. When I went to the University of Iowa for undergrad, I worked at a daycare for about a year in the infant room (around two weeks-1 year old). At this job, I was trained in first aid and CPR, along with various other certifications. I flourished in this environment and truly love working with infants. Now that I have finished my master's, I'm looking to nanny before I enter my teaching career. For context, I have experience teaching children and college students.
