I am the third oldest of nine children. I believe that’s what has allowed me to love caring for children so much. Both parents had full-time jobs so, as the oldest I stepped up and helped my mom with the little ones. I absolute enjoy making children laugh, contribute to their educational growth, as well as make them feel safe. At the age of 13 I started my first nanny job caring for 3 middle aged children and their dog. A few years later I began another job watching a 4 year old little boy. A few years later his parents welcomed two more beautiful girls, which I also cater for. This was the first family that I began picking up the children from school/daycare and cooking dinners occasionally. I’m my college years I still care for these children but as a babysitter, due to my heavy school load. Now Read more that I have my degree my focus is getting back to what I loved doing, being a nanny full-time. I am not CPR certified but I plan on getting that certification ASAP. Through Girl Scouts, I became babysitter certified. We learned how to calm down an upset child, how to have a relationship with the parents, how to communicate with children, as well as problem solving.
