I have a bachelor's degree in psychology and criminal justice from Western Michigan University. I currently work as a foster care worker. As much as I love doing foster care, I realized I am much more of a hands-on person and working at a desk all day just is not for me! I am looking for something where I am able to work with kids/people full-time instead of typing away on the computer for seven hours a day. That being said, I am interested in pursuing a career in nannying for now and in the future would like to pursue a career in where I am able to work with kids all day! I also have some experience doing in-home ABA therapy. I am CPR and first aid certified and have extensive experience working with children of all ages. I was a camp counselor at JCC for six summers. I Read more worked with adults and children with developmental disabilities for over three years while in college. I have plenty of experience with caring for infants, toddlers, and children (friends children, neighborhood kids, etc). I have babysat for many years. I am comfortable with pets (I grew up with dogs!) and comfortable with cooking, cleaning, errands, and transporting, as needed. I love working with children of all ages and I truly enjoy helping children grow and learn. I am familiar with age-appropriate development and skills and am able to provide a nurturing environment to help children develop, grow, and learn. Also, I have not completed a background check in this site. I use a very good website for background checking and am happy to complete a background check upon request.
