. I am a retired respiratory therapist. I raised my own son, have always taken care of Every-body's children. I just never got my "fill" of babies and children.Im only 53 yrs old and thought I would make some extra $ to supplement my SS iincome.II've taken care of kids since the age of 14.. ando have for my entire adult lufe. I just love kids. I even nannied my twin cousins from birth to about 18 months. I also have worked full-time as a resp. Therapist and have had many, many pediatric patients. I can take on ill children, special needs kids, multiple children (depending on age). I love kids of all ages. Im very patient, gentle and loving. I have a fiance, 2 doggies.I love to cook. I think i have a great sense of humor and im pretty smart. I have an associates degree in health sciences. Read more Ive been employed since the age of 16. and right now, im retired and just need something to do that i really enjoy. Thanks for considering me for your caregiver. I also was a practical nurse, EMT, Medical Assistant and a registered respiratory therapist . If this will do, give me a call. Thank you...im an old-school type parent. like to teach and instill good, responsible behaviors I give and demand respect. .Ive been caring for 3 children for 2 years now. Every other week. I pick all three kids up from different schools. Take them home, feed them. Then off to practices. Every day one or more of the kids have some type of sports /practuce. Af the end of the day, we are home, bathed and in bed by 9pm. Kids dad is usually home by 10pm. Snow days and late-start days I start as early as 7am.. Unfortunately, due to recent relationship and income changes...the family only uses me a day or 2 per month. So, im looking for a more steady childcare position.. i can supply you with many references upon request. I have been CPR certified for over 30 years with all ages. I will love your children and give them the best care possible. Transportation; While I do have reliable and safe transportation, I prefer to keep babies at home, unless older children require transportation. I prefer for my focus to be on "your" children, not other drivers and dangers out thete. Im an older lady, and have my challenges but i just love babies and kids. As long as i dont have to carry them up n down stairs.....I'd be willing to give it a try.. Thank you for considering me for your nanny.
