I am a current college student at Schoolcraft Community College. My major is Early Childhood Education. I chose this major because of wanting to learn more about children, and how i can contribute in helping by being a teacher or owner of my own childcare center. I was always told that I should be a teacher and that I have lots of patience with children, however I didn't discover that I really wanted to do this until doing site visits to different childcare centers for one of my ECE classes. I knew right then and there that I wanted to work with children. Almost everywhere I go children are drawn to me. I don't have any children of my own yet, but I do have some experience babysitting.
