Hello, I am Claire and I am seeking opportunities here on the Cape to connect with a wonderful family. I am a Sophomore at the University of Michigan, so I know how to stay on top of business but I also love to have fun and build meaningful connections. I am also a middle child (I have five other siblings), so caregiving has long been a part of my day-to-day. My background caring stems for infants and toddlers began when my younger siblings were born and from working in the church nursery. I also spent several summers at a day camp for a local MMA and self-defense gym in Michigan. While at school I have assisted a variety of family needs with babysitting, nannying, etc. I love animals and actually consider pet-friendly homes a plus! At my family home in Michigan we have two dogs, two cats, a snake, chickens, Read more and a turtle. I find the outdoors therapeutic and am looking forward to putting my feet in grass and sand this summer! I enjoy gardening and cooking with what is sown from local harvests. Fun fact: I own every Barefoot Contessa cookbook there is and frequently use Ina's recipes. This past Mother's Day I baked a lovely Tomato and Goat Cheese Crostada from her newest book.
