Hello, my name is Kaitlyn I am 27 years old. I will be returning to school this Winter. I am working towards my Bachelors Degree in Actuarial Science. I am the youngest of 6 children and I have 11 nieces and 2 nephews, so there was plenty of child care practice growing up. I parlayed that into many babysitting jobs, and a few long term Nanny positions. I love kids, and the challenges they bring. Half of the fun is surviving the adventures of diaper blow outs, wild toddler temper tantrums, and even colicky newborns. I am fun, responsible, and enthusiastic! I employed Kaitlyn for 7-8 months. She was usually on time. She didn't always do the things requested of her, but I was willing to over look that usually. We treated her as part of the family. Every time she asked for time off for personal reasons or appointments or illness she was given the time off no questions asked. she was paid generously. 12 hours before she was to be at work she quit with no explanation. She wouldn't return my messages or phone calls. My entire staff was shocked and bewildered with her behavior and actions. I can't be sure what caused this behavior in her. She could have avoided this whole thing with communication and responsibility.
