Hello! My name is Kelsey and I am a recent graduate of Nova Southeastern University, with a major in Marketing and a minor in Leadership. I am a health nut, fitness enthusiast, creative junkie, outdoor loving, and always moving kind of girl. Through the past twelve years as a competitive swimmer, under both USA Swimming and NCAA Division II swimming, I have poured countless hours into training and competing. Aside from swimming, I was a four year scholar athlete, four year dean’s list member, and four year Razor’s Edge Leadership Program member. I absolutely love engaging with children and seeing the pure joy they receive from the smallest things in life. From 2012-2015, I spent my summers as lifeguard for Orchard Hills Sports clubs, which was eventually bought out and became MVP Sports Club. In this position, I was required to be Red Cross Certified in CPR, first aid, and Read more AED. In addition to lifeguarding, I was the 2015 Head Coach for MVP’s Summer League Swim Team; I enjoyed working closely with children ages 5-15 in this position to help them improve their swimming techniques and skills. I have done several “date night” babysitting for local families within Forest Hills. Whether it be exploring in the woods, playing dress up or reading books, I am up for anything that enables a creative and fun environment, while maintaining safety.
