Hello! My name is Medra, I’m 23 turning 24, an Ethiopian adoptee living in Grand Rapids since 2005. All my life I have worked or taken care of kids, when I myself was at the orphanage in Addis Ababa to present day. Naturally at the collegiate level I studied Education but my skill with speaking multiple languages allowed me to find my passion and concentration down the Applied Linguistic track in ELA (English language acquisition) and tutoring Hispanic Heritage speakers at GRCC. I have been part of the Early Childcare and children’s ministries at Madison Square Church since I was 12 and recently was the substitute for our children’s pastor as she was on Maternity leave. In addition I have nannied, babysat and a combination of both professionally for about 4 years. I look forward to caring and providing nurturing care for your precious littles!
