I have spent time working as a nanny for children ages 2 months through adults with disabilities including autism. One of those positions was in Puerto Rico with both Spanish and English speaking children. I have also had great success in positions working with children with challenging behavioral problems and academic difficulties. Some of the things kids have loved about me caring for them have been singing, playing outside, crafts, reading, baking, building forts, and just about anything TOGETHER! Along with the fun I have with kids, I also have worked hard and been successful in earning the respect of the kids so that they have come to obey my instructions and treat me and others with respect.
