I am a mother of 3, 2 of my own and one step child, two of which are teenagers and one preteen. For the past several years I have been a baker/cake decorator, I also did some light catering, and for many years I volunteered at my childrens schools. When I volunteered I did things such as help the children with school work, grade papers, log in grades, copy, print, etc, and plan and carry out classroom parties and field trips. I have taken CPR classes twice, and I have experience with kids who have high functioning autism as well as learning and emotional disabilities. I believe a nanny shouldnt just be a babysitter, but an early educator and stand in mother. Feeding, changing, soothing, and then teaching things such as math, reading, etc. with younger children who aren't yet in school, and help with homework for children who are Read more in school. I also love crafts and baking! So theres a great chance that would be a daily activity for your child should I care for them.
