Hello there! My name is Lindsay and I would absolutely love to come take care of your children. As an oldest sister, big cousin, and former long-term babysitter for several energetic and active families, kids have always been a huge part of my life. Your little ones will be in great hands (you can ask my brothers and cousins as references), and I promise to take great care of your household (I'm a bit of a neat freak so that won't be hard). Currently, I am completing my final year at Hope College, a small liberal arts school in Holland, Michigan. When I graduate from Hope in May, I will have earned a bachelor's degree with majors in creative writing and communication. In addition to my studies, I run for the school's cross country and track and field teams, work as features editor for the school's newspaper, and intern for Read more the college's visiting writers series, which brings in award-winning authors and poets from all over the U.S. My time spent at Hope has been absolutely amazing. I've developed incredible relationships with my classmates, teammates, and professors while visiting my family regularly (Hope is only about 15 minutes away from my parents' home). Of all my life's endeavors, creative expression is closest to my heart. The arts have always been a huge part of my life. Growing up, I constantly read and wrote, enjoyed ten years of piano lessons, and was actively involved in the theater and choir programs in my community. Lately, I've enjoyed writing poetry and short fiction for the wonderful creative writing professors at Hope. In the summertime, I incorporate music into my life by singing with my talented brother Thomas for the street performers series in our home town.
