Growing up as the second oldest child in a family of 7, I learned early how to care for children alongside my mother and then independently since age 12. I was taught how to care for children, entertain them and how to cook and clean in addition. My first jobs were babysitting jobs for neighbors, family and family friends. Over the years, I have babysat for about 20 different families. The average family had about five children, usually including an infant. The range of ages was from 0-10 years old. During my senior year, I worked for the BHK Great Explorations program at our local elementary school. My job was to do activities, tutor, prepare snacks and watch over a group of 20 kids, with my co-workers. I currently work as a part-time barista, part-time nanny for 3 children and throughly love what I do. My dream job is to Read more be a mother, I just love caring for and loving kids.
