Hi there! I'm MaKayla! I'd like to start off by thanking you for showing interest in my profile! I recently graduated from Central Michigan University with a degree in history. After realizing I had a passion for teaching, I decided to take an assistant teaching job in a toddler classroom at a local preschool in March of 2021. I quickly took over the classroom as interim lead in June, enrolled in my Childhood Development Associate certification course in July. On May 1, I was awarded with my certification. I also began classes online through Central Michigan University for a second bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education. I absolutely love to spend time outdoors and exercising. Following a healthy lifestyle is of utmost importance to me; my current job also helps me continue to make healthy choices and teach children how to as well! Through my work experience, I have been able to help guide children through milestones such as serving their own food to potty training. I love to promote independence by providing choices.
