I am from the Metro Detroit area and have lived in Northern Michigan for three nows. During high school I took classes on early childhood development and classes where I was able to assist teachers with there classrooms. I've mainly focused on children with special needs. Before moving here my childcare experience consisted of (of course) babysitting children in the neighborhood I grew up in, but also working morning care at an elementary school. Since my move up here I have worked at an Adult Foster Care home as a direct care provider, I've worked at The Autism Center of Michigan as an ABA, and I currently work through TBAISD in a severely autistic classroom and at Pathfinder in the summer camp program. I am CPR and AED certified- looking to be lifeguard certified this summer :) I feel like I bring all the qualifications someone would be looking for Read more in a nanny/babysitter. I am hoping to find something that could take place of my classroom job. Which is during the school year 7:30-3pm (times are negotiable) I would love to be working with ~2-12 year olds, doing fun crafts and playing outside, going for walks, to the parks, etc. I love my current job with the school- I just feel it's time for a change to something alittle less limiting as working at a school.
