I would describe my personality as creative, patient, empathetic, and reliable. I like working with kids for a lot of reasons. I love their creativity and imagination. I love how enthusiastic and energetic they are. I love getting to explore their hobbies and interests with them and help them explore the world around them. I started working with kids over a decade ago as a babysitter for families in my neighborhood. During high school and college, I taught swim lessons to children ages 1-12 during the summers. I also worked at a daycare during high school where I supervised children ages 5-14. I have spent the past 2 years in teaching roles, where I worked with middle and high school age children. In my spare time, I like to read, spend time outside, make necklaces, paint, play the ukulele, and walk dogs.
