I have previously worked with children as a babysitter before I began my college education. In college, I studied Sociology, Psychology, and American Sign Language. Since graduating, I have discovered my passion for working with children. For the last two years, I have worked as a Behavior Technician for children with autism. During my time as a Behavior Technician, I worked one on one with children ages 2-5, but interacted with children of all ages in this position. I love working with children because I love to see how they learn and grow every single day. Through studying Sociology, I have learned that children are one of the most oppressed groups in our society. They deserve to be treated and respected as humans, and I would love to give any child the chance to have that experience!
