Hello! My name is Britta. I am a 30 year old, mother of 3 wonderful children (ages 8, 9, &10). I am currently enrolled part time at Monroe County Community College, pursuing my Bachelors degree in psychology and social work. I am passionate about working with children and strive to provide the right balance of love, guidance, encouragement and discipline. I am highly intuitive, empathetic, and compassionate to children’s needs. This helps me identify with children on a deeper level and provide care for each child’s unique personality. I am dedicated to creating a safe, inclusive and engaging environment for all children. I am passionate about working with children with special needs. I have 5 years of experience with a child with H.I.E. & Cerebral Palsy. I am creative and love developing new activities and challenges to help children have fun and engage while learning (escape rooms, sharing circles) I Read more enjoy teaching children to build long term healthy habits and practices by engaging them in holistic healing practices such as calming breathing exercises, meditation, Reiki energy healing, and yoga practices. Lastly, and most importantly, I am very family oriented. And I would love to find a family that honors this same view with me.
