Hello! I have almost a full year of experience in childcare, though I did used to help out in my church's nursery growing up! I know a year of experience doesn't seem like much, but I am also over halfway through online courses for obtaining my CDA! (I can present my certificates upon request). After I obtain my CDA I am furthering my education by also taking a sign language class as well as a special needs course. I have worked at 2 different daycare centers and have been told that I am a natural with children. I specialize in infants and toddlers, but have some experience with preschoolers! I am the lead teacher for the center I am at now, but we are losing a bunch of staff and I'm afraid/unsure if we will be able to stay open... If you allow me to care for your children I Read more will never be on my phone unless there is an emergency. Your children will have my full attention. I will incorporate a daily routine full of fun and educational activities such as, mealtimes, circle time, naptime, stories, crafting/coloring, outdoor play (as long as the weather permits), as well as self-directed play for this is important for development and growth. I will make sure your children excel and develop in all of the stages of development. We will focus on activities that will improve both fine and gross motor skills. I also like to incorporate relaxing deep breathing exercises to help maintain a calm and collected environment and teach the children positive ways to help with stress. I am a big believer of positive guidance and redirection and treating children with the same respect as any other human being. If you allow me to care for your children, I will make sure they have a fulfilled, safe, and educational day! I am comfortable working with pets as well, they just have to be hypoallergenic as I am very highly allergic to pet dander. I have open availability Monday through Thursday and would love to start working with your babies as soon as I can! I am also CPR/First Aid certified! Please contact me if interested!!
