As a nanny or babysitter, I always make sure that the kids are kept busy and aren’t bored sitting around. I absolutely love caring for young children mostly because they always can make me smile. I have watched ages from 5months-14 years old without adult supervision. I regularly babysit for a family in my hometown, and the little girls have became part of my life more than I knew. When watching kids, it is almost an instinct of mine to mother them. By “mothering” the kids is meaning I never take my eyes off the them, always make sure their food is cut into small enough portion, diapers are always clean and fresh, and always always always pick up the house after I am done watching them. I respect the family that is allowing me to watch their kids because I am truly grateful to be able to build a Read more bond and make little friends. As far as certification, I renewed my CPR and First Aid this year.
