Hi lovely parents! My name is Lauryn. I'm a college student whose currently home for the summer from Michigan State University! I attended Northville Highschool, and I have plenty experience with meal preparation, household cleaning, etc. I'm super creative and fun; the children I've previously nannied love the crafts and fun activities I put together. Although I'm extremely outgoing and fun, I'm very responsible and reliable. During my 5 years of nanny/babysitting experience, I have never once been late to picking up kids from school, or taking them to other activities. I'm a very gentle and caring person, so I pay close attention to all children's needs, and never make a child feel left out or bored. My experience with infants is great. I've been fortunate to have family or close friends watch my son (3 years now) until recently. I'm a middle aged guy with no mom's groups or school families to reach out to for sitters. I was in need and came to this site pretty apprehensive to hire a stranger to watch my prize possession. Thankfully, Lauryn found my post and responded. We met and I'm sure I was more nervous than her. The next day she watched my son and when I got home (after a couple hours of nerves) my son was curled up with her and as comfortable as can be. I was happy to hear my son tell me all the things they did and he was sad to see her leave. She was so great with him, her love for children and caring really shine through. Lauryn will be first on my sitter list when I need someone!
