Hello! I'm Jane, a married soon-to-be mom (due Halloween 2022). ***I will be looking for a full time nannying position after the holidays, and would need to bring my son along 2 days per week.*** I'm the oldest of three girls, and also became a certified babysitter at the age of 12, so I've been taking care of kids for most of my life. Career-wise, I spent 5 years as a Behavior Technician working with young people diagnosed ASD. Childcare is my first love, though, so that is my focus going forward! I am CPR & First Aid certified and take maintenance of those skills very seriously. Behavior-wise, I am big on validating emotions and helping kids find constructive ways of communicating their feelings. My ABA training is immensely helpful in situations where inappropriate behavior needs to be calmly redirected, and see myself as a patient and firm-when-appropriate caregiver (think Read more "gentle parenting").
