I have been babysitting since I was 14 years old. I have watched every different age group. I also frequently watch over a child who was on the spectrum and a feeding tube. Through that I learned much more and grew even fonder of my love for helping and watching children. I continued to babysit frequently for different families and at school participated in our PE peer mentoring program where we assisted other students who were on the spectrum receive their PE credit. Throughout all of this, I found out I wanted to continue this work. I am currently studying my undergrad at the University of Pittsburgh and am in their direct OT program for graduate school! I am back for the Summer and have been nannying for two 3-yr olds! They will be gone from Jun26-Jul24, so I am trying to continue this work!!
