Hello, my name is Libby Daly and I have a passion for helping children! My background is in social work, with a minor in child welfare. Prior to obtaining my BSW degree, I spent three years working for a clinic that utilized ABA (Applied Behavioral Analysis) services for ages 2-16. This clinic worked on areas from social/emotional, educational, life skills, speech, and occupational therapy where I was able to learn from and carry the skills with me. My internship through OU placed me at Lake Orion’s alternative high school where I had the privilege of helping students reach their goal of graduation and many other large strides that seemed unachievable. Through recommendation, I was transferred to an elementary within the district as a Family School Coordinator. This position was highly beneficial for the skills I have developed while working with elementary aged children through the pandemic. As we have seen, Read more our kiddos at this specific age group have fallen a bit behind on their social/emotional development, and I am happy to have the tools to help master those challenging milestones!
