Hi, I am Ann McGrath! I graduated from California State University, Northridge in 2013 with a double major, a BA in Child and Adolescent Development and a BA in Deaf Studies with a concentration in Pre-Deaf Education. I am passionate about being a positive influence and inspiring our future generations. I have been in the child development field for the last fifteen years and before that I baby-sat for various family friends and neighbors. My child development experience began by leading the two year old class at Crosswinds Church for a little over five years and then went on to work during the summers at a school age center for three more years before starting at a preschool in Chatsworth. I started at the preschool in April 2012 where I became versed in the different classrooms (both infant and preschool side). In August 2013 I became the head teacher of Read more the three year old room and in 2014 I became assistant director of the preschool. In 2016, I started my own business teaching an extracurricular cooking class at the preschool I worked at to fight childhood obesity by teaching nutrition and basic cooking skills to empower them to make better choices early on in a fun and hands-on way. I then nannied for a few families both here and abroad before helping to open a brand new preschool in 2019. I worked as a lead teacher until the end of May 2021 when I moved to Michigan. I am currently in the process of opening my own home daycare and am looking for part time/ occasional jobs. I have four beautiful godchildren, Gabriel, Tremel, Heaven and Semaj. I love working with children and hope to get the chance to work with yours!
