Hello! I’m a fun, enthusiastic older sister of four younger brothers, all of varying ages that I’ve helped look after over the years among various paid jobs. I’m happy to do any and all household work! I’m CPR and First-Aid certified, and have also been trained in the use of an AED. During high school I was apart of a program called Peer-to-Peer; in the program I spent time interacting with teens/young adults that have special needs. In addition to that, I have also spent multiple summers helping with the basic needs of a mentally challenged family member such as: bathing, dressing, medication administration, specified food preparation, etc... I’m completely open and comfortable working with that setting as well as receiving any additional training you’d prefer! I’m aware that my young age might lead to me being perceived as having less experience or immature, but I feel it’s important to Read more create a bond with the child and to build trust. In my past experiences a smaller age gap allows that process to go smoother and much more effectively. I’m happy to provide references and proof of all certifications upon inquiry.
