Hello! My name is Rowan and I am a third year Psychology student at a local university also pursuing social work and studies in disability and chronic illness. I have been babysitting since I was old enough to be a mother's helper, and have pet-sat since my family began to foster when I was eleven. I have volunteered at a near-by elementary school as a coach for their Girl Scout troop, as a coach and judge for Odyssey of the Mind, as well as having helped orchestrate talent shows and other youth events. I really enjoy working with children, even spending my last semester of high school as a "teacher's aid". I love the opportunity to connect with kids and help them learn about the world around them - I'm someone who likes to go outside for walks to the park, try different art projects and build forts out of Read more blankets when babysitting, but I also am good with helping at homework, managing time and priorities, and setting boundaries while staying upbeat!
