I currently work as a paraprofessional for children with autism. I work with verbal and non verbal children as well and high and low functioning. I help them with their modified curriculums, speech, OT, PT and social work skills. I am familiar with different types of communication devices for non verbal students and know many different techniques for work with students with disabilities. I also had one student that had a feeding tube so I am a little familiar with those as well. I am cpr, cpi and first aid certified.
