Working with children has always been a huge passion of mine. I am currently 23 years old and was blessed with two brothers that are significantly younger than I am, 12 and 13. I was able to help take care of my brothers throughout growing up. I graduated from the University of Minnesota, Morris in December of 2016 with a bachelors degree in psychology. I am now working on my masters degree in counseling. Working with children is my ultimate career goal. I have been fortunate enough to spend time teaching children Sunday school and working with children with behavioral issues in the community. I am now working evenings at a residential treatment facility with individuals that have mental illnesses. I am looking for some ways to spend my extra time throughout the summer and to gain even more experience working with kiddos.
