Hi! My name is Katie. One of the most important things about me is the way I interact with children comes from my love for my own boys (2.5 and 5 years), my love and respect for my husband of almost eight years, and my relationship with Jesus. I work very hard to integrate my beliefs into everything that I do in the sense that I treat children, no matter how young, with respect and kindness. I also work hard to practice peaceful, gentle parenting that still involves consistent discipline and this overflows into my work as well. I've always loved working with kids of all ages - I have experience with newborns all the way until seniors in high school. During high school and college, I worked at various daycares and Adventures Plus (a before and after school daycare program for school-aged students). I am currently an Family and Read more Consumer Sciences teacher at a local high school. I am looking for very part-time, after school and occasional nanny/babysitting work that I can bring my boys with since I work full time during the school year. They are extremely sweet and well-behaved (most of the time ;) ) and they get along well with other kids! My dream is that your kids and mine enjoy their time together.
