I grew up with 2 young nieces that are now ages 11 and 14. I have a large family with lots of younger cousins I would babysit including a set of twins that are now 6. I grew up babysitting through high school and while at college nannied for a family that had a 3, 5, 9, and 12 year old. This summer I am currently nannying for a family with a 8 and 10 year old and do off and on babysitting for a 1 year old. I love being around children and being able to connect with them and learn their stories. Watching them grow and achieve new things is also something I have come to enjoy since I have been able to watch young children for an extended period of time. I have a history of 2 years of nursing courses as well as graduating with a Read more psychology bachelors soon. I also am certified in CPR and AED use and have my Basic Life Support Certification. I never got to grow up with younger siblings but have found that nannying has been an awesome way for me to experience spending quality time with younger kids. My hopes is to start a Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy by Fall of 2016 and focus on working with children.
