I have been working with children since I was in high school. While I was in college, I nannied for a family of three boys over three summers in Edina. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Teaching and, recently, an International Montessori Teaching Diploma from the North American Montessori Center. I spent 9 years teaching full-time for a respected preschool chain before I decided to pursue Montessori education. My passions outside of professional education include volunteer work with a non-profit organization, including hands-on educational programs with reptiles and amphibians and serving on the board of directors for the past four years. With family connections in entomology and ecology, I've always enjoyed bugs and cherish any opportunity to connect children with the natural world that exists even three steps from their door.
