Hi! I'm Amy, and I've worked with children for nearly 15 years in various capacities - as a wilderness guide, childcare center teacher, nanny, au pair in Switzerland, and coach. I currently guide kids ages 3-14 with Wilderness Awakening, where we explore and deepen our connection to nature and let curiosity lead the way. I'm passionate about holistic wellbeing and love equipping children with grounding tools like breath work, yoga, song, and mindful movement. I believe in creating spaces where children feel seen, safe, and free to be exactly who they are. Growing up on 10 acres exploring without boundaries, I developed a deep connection to the natural world - and I bring that same sense of wonder, presence, and playfulness to my work with children. I'm patient, creative, and skilled at holding boundaries with kindness. My background includes early childhood care, nature programs, and documentary filmmaking. I hold a Read more B.A. in Global Studies with an emphasis on Human Rights and Justice from the University of Minnesota. Available for flexible childcare through early February before departing for a documentary project in Thailand. Based in Minneapolis with my dog Kofi. I'd love to support your family!
