Hi all! My name is Lauren and Becoming a nanny was the best decision I have ever made! Ever since I can remember, I've always had a special place in my heart for the youth! I started my child care career when I was a junior in high school. I did PSEO online during my last two years of high school, which allowed me to work full time at a daycare facility in Eden prairie. I worked in the infant room, toddler room, and the preschool room, depending on the day. Halfway though my senior year, I came across a great family to nanny for. The kids were twin 2 year old girls. We had a ton of fun and leaned a lot in my 1.5 years with them. Unfortunately, they no longer needed a nanny but I was very fortunate to find another family to become apart of and Read more nanny for. I started when the youngest boy was 4 months old, and two older brothers that were 4 and 6. Now nearly 2 years later, they are moving out of state and now I'm on the search again. I am CPR And first aid certified. My junior year of high school, I became a CNA so I have quite a bit of knowledge with the medical field. I have leaned many teaching techniques by working at the daycare center and I have applied that knowledge to how I nanny families. Number one rule is to have fun, but learning is right behind it! I'm open to how many kids I'd be watching at a time. Looking for a full time position starting in late may or June. It's a plus if I can bring my infant daughter along with me. I will provide references from my previous jobs and also a background check upon request. I'm looking forward to hearing from you!
